Its never easy, saying goodbye.

 Dear Paper Trunk Friends,
It is hard to believe I am announcing the decision to close Paper Trunk.  This decision was not made lightly and I have been hoping and praying that sales would pick up.  It has been a struggle with low sales and I simply cannot maintain Paper Trunk under these economic conditions.
These past 4 years have been my absolute pleasure, dream, and heart to provide scrapbooking products to such an amazing industry of people.  I cannot even attempt to put into words my emotions, memories, relationships, and experiences that have come my way since launching Paper Trunk in the summer of 2007.  There is so much to cherish.
Over the years I have been beyond blessed to have such amazing Design Team members who represented Paper Trunk with their incredible talents.  These women helped my little company flourish in the scrapbook world and I cannot thank them enough for their dedication to me and to Paper Trunk.
Trunk Team Members (past & present): Anna Bjorklund, Danielle Calhoun, Dena Coe, Julie Geiger, Jill Geraghty Groves, Cari Locken, Brianne Nevill, Jolene Pienaar, Janelle Richmond, Penny Smith, Corinne Stevens, Sherry Steveson, Carole Stirrat, Wendi Manuel Scott, Megan Thurman, Rachel Theall, Danielle Wycough, and Lisa Wilkinson
Each of you have inspired me creatively and personally.  You will always hold a special place in my heart.  It has been my honor to have you represent Paper Trunk with your amazing talents.
To my wonderful Sales Representatives and Distributors who were the face of Paper Trunk in corners of the world that I could not reach, thank you so very much for adding me to your list of companies.  I have enjoyed working with each of you and appreciate your efforts in making sure Paper Trunk was on display in local scrapbook stores.
To every retailer, customer, and craft enthusiast who has supported Paper Trunk these past 4 years, you embraced my company and products with overwhelming excitement that has allowed me to continue as long as I have in this economy.
I will embrace this change with joy and look forward to creative opportunities around the corner.  As far as Paper Trunk products, I will be launching a Sale soon to clear my inventory.  All prices listed online (www.papertrunk.com) are currently at wholesale cost and available to the general public.
Some ways you can help me step out gracefully:
- Shop the Clearance Sale and stock up on your favorite Paper Trunk items
- Spread the word in the scrapbook community
- If you know of a non-profit group* that could use some scrapbook products, please pass along the information (*I will need to see documentation of 501(c)(3) status)
- Don't forget, the Digital Collections of Paper Trunk are still available over at My Memories Suite

As of now, I do not have a set closing date.  That will be determined based on inventory levels and a few other administrative details.  Please contact me directly if you have any special requests.
Closing the Trunk with loving memories,
Carrie Postma
