Happy Sailing!

This past summer we took our kids to Steveston Harbor and watched the pirate ships in the harbor. They were sailing around and having mock battles. The kids thought it was fun when you could see the smoke from the canons. We had a great time walking around the area too.

Here's the layout that I created from that days' events. (I used a sketch by Valerie Salmon for this layout.)

Supplies used: Paper Trunk (Socialite colection & Benny alpha stickers), Core'dinations Cardstock, Imaginisce Glam Rocks (black), buttons, Cricut Expression & Birthday Bash cartridge (for banners), Paper Dolls Dressup (for ship), Divine Twine (turquoise)

Argh!!! Have a super day!

  3. How fun! I just saw a pirate ship last weekend, too. I found it more fascinating than my son did, who was more interested in playing in the dirt. haha! Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm a new follower!

  4. Very nice! I'm not a scrapper, but my cousin is and I'm always amazed at all the beautiful things she can create out of, seemingly nothing!!
