can you believe it? i can't! this morning i woke up and realized it was snowing... that always put me in a festive mood! i always look forward to the holidays and one of my very favorites is Thanksgiving. this year we are celebrating that special day with another large family, so i thought it would be fun to create some place cards with a "turkey" theme.... i play and played and came up with this cute idea....
you will need the following
several paper strips 2 1/2 by 12 inches long, i used 1974 Right On and Far out Man, folded accordian style
2 inch circles, cut into two parts
2 inch scallop circles, 1/3 snipped off the bottombrown cardstock, cut into "turkey bodies"
paper noses
wiggle eyes
a brown pen, if desired for adding the names
