you have about a week~

until Father's Day :)
this day was always hard for me growing up, as i did not have a Father in my life to lean on. i always tried to fill my day with other things to hide how i felt, but that has all changed for me. we have some amazing traditions now to celebrate my husband and his role of "Daddy" to each of our children, but more than that i have the joy of watching my children grow up with a "ROCKIN" Dad :) what better way to celebrate him than with a "ROCKIN" card~ made with the cool new Rockabilly line. I loved those chipboard guitars SO much i had to add one on my little tie (doesn't that paper look like a dad tie...heehee. this year we will not be giving him a cheesy new "tie" but a cute new "tie" he doesn't have to wear to humor us....

i have some fun new los to share with all of you, but since the most horrible thing to ever happen to a scrapbooker has happened to me (i ran out of adhesive), you will have to wait until the end of the month to see them all.....

i hope you have a ROCKIN Father's Day and i hope this inspires you to make a little card or gift for the special men in your life~

  1. Great card Lisa. The tie is great and the guitar is perfect! Sorry about not having any adhesive, yes that's a travesty for all us scrappers. We've all had that happen to us at one point or another.
