Hey Paper Trunkers! Hope you're enjoying our Flower Frenzy!
Today I'd like to share a fun and easy flower that you can make in a snap and will sure to make your paper crafting all that more lovely!
This is what I call a
"Simple Scrunch Rosette".

A fun apron I made using Paper Trunk's newest line:
Krafty Paper
With a fun rosette to add color.

Let's get started... What you'll need....
- 1 circle cutout 1.5" in diameter
- 5 circle cutouts 2" in diameter
- glue dots or any fast drying adhesive.
- a pencil with eraser head

Step 1: Scrunch each of your circles giving it an aged look.
Use your favorite ink and ink edges.
Note: You can sand the edges too

Step 2: Using your eraser end of the pencil, place your circle
up against eraser. Scrunch the circle up all around the pencil.

Step 3: Still holding scrunched circle around pencil,
stick a glue dot on bottom.

Step 4: Take scrunched circles and adhere to 1.5" circle cutout.

Step 5: Place them in a circular cluster.

Step 6: After adhering them all, begin manipulating the papers,
pressing some of the sides down until you achieve your desired
"rosette" look.

Ta Da... You have your Simply Scrunched Rosette!
Easy, huh?
Wanna take it a step further?
Press the inner sides of your "petals" down.

Take a 1" circle cutout and adhere in the middle on top
of the already pressed down "petals".

Take either a brad or button (which ever you prefer)
and place in middle.

Perfect for a scrap page!

Here's a few crafty items I made.

Spring is just around the corner. And every time I think of Spring,
I think of baby showers and bridal showers. Here's a few ideas
using our fun rosettes to make your decorating all that more special.
Tea for two anyone???
A place card for the guest of honor.

Napkin holders. (Just take the rosettes and glue to already tied ribbon)
I hope you enjoyed another Flower Frenzy idea here at Paper Trunk. Now get crafting... we wanna see those rosettes!
