HAPPY NATIONAL SCRAPBOOK DAY!

What a cool day huh! A whole day dedicated to Scrapbooking. Every year I anxiously look forward to this weekend. I spend the whole week preparing to hole myself up in my scraproom and get down to business. Just have some plain ol fun CREATING and falling in love with scrapbooking all over again.

With this in mind, I give you todays challenge:

CREATE A LAYOUT ABOUT WHY YOU SCRAPBOOK!

Each one of us loves scrapbooking for different reasons. For me, it is my creative outlet. My chance to escape the monotony of every day chores and the craziness of life. I can translate all of those feelings onto paper or canvas or heck even a scrap of cardboard. When I became a Mom, the creative part of me was pushed wayyy into the background. I forgot all about her and then came scrapbooking and it unleashed that part of my soul that longed to be artistic.

So today, on National Scrapbooking Day, I challenge you to create a layout all about scrapbooking, what scrapbooking means to you...CELEBRATE ALL THINGS SCRAP!

Here is the layout that I created using Paper Trunk Socialite Papers, diecut tags and our new alphabet stickers!
