Howdy scrappers,
I hope that you are ready for 48 hours of TOTAL FUN!!!! Over the next 48 hours, I will post eight exciting challenges and I hope that you will join me.
In each of the challenges you get to play! WOOHOO! I want you to get ready to use some non-traditional supplies and recycled products. Perhaps some of the products you use and new techniques you discover over the next 48 hours will inspire other pages and projects. Whatever happens, I hope that you have fun and enjoy the creative process .
Certainly you are familiar with Project Runway. I mean really, who isn't? So, I thought it would be fun to use Project Runway as our muse -- a source of NSD inspiration. My take on Project Runway is "Project Green." I invite you to join me for "Project Green" to challenge your creative muscles and explore the infinite possibilities of your creativity and ingenuity.
Each challenge will be based on one of the Project Runway challenges -- so get ready to roll up your sleeves and jump into a little bit of chaos. The first challenge of season one was entitled "Innovation" and it required the designers to go to the grocery store for their materials and create a crazy design made out of everyday kitchen and household products. This is your challenge. You must incorporate at least one kitchen item onto a layout.

In my take on the first challenge I used two "kitchen" items. My layout includes cardboard from a cereal box (the center of the lace flower) and three fortunes from carry-out fortune cookies. As you can see, I used Paper Trunk products right alongside the non-traditional items. The possibilities are endless. So go raid you kitchen or that junk drawer and discover a whole new world, perhaps galaxy, of scrapbooking possibilities. You might also like to know that for each challenge you complete and post your name will be entered into a drawing to win some YUMMILIOUS goodies.
Hugs,
Wendi
