A Merry Haunting To You!

In our family, October is a magical time of year.  Not only do you have the beautiful changing of colors, the refreshingly cool air after a long hot summer, but also the oh so fun fantasy of Halloween.  Now I know that not everyone celebrates Halloween, and that's okay, but for us it's one of our favorite holidays.  In fact, it was around this time that my husband and I met.

Last year we took our daughter to the store to pick out her costume.  She was three at the time and I thought for sure she'd go for something cute and cuddly.  I was so wrong!  She surprised us with picking out a spooky glow in the dark skeleton costume.  Definitely not what I expected, but even though she is young I want to respect her choices and who she wants to be.  So we came home with this skeleton costume and I must say she was the cutest set of bones I'd ever seen!

Thank you so much to Magistical Memories for teaming up with us this month and sending us, the design team, so many wonderful chipboard pieces!!  I had a hard time choosing which one to use, they have so many great designs!  I particularly loved the chandelier piece and decided to make it work on this Halloween layout.  I sprayed it with Tattered Angels Glimmer mist and then spread a thin layer of black stickles over top of it.  Then I put on an angel as though it was swinging.  I think it really works though, espcially with the Paper Trunk Kraft and Rockabilly collections!  The little button in the corner of the photo is one of Paper Trunks newest items, the Rockabilly Flair.  Love it!!  Anyway, Happy Fall & Happy Halloween!!

And finally, I know you've been anxiously waiting for you next word in our secret phrase, and that word is......
