Cherish the things you love

Like many others, this time of year is my favorite time of year. Unfortunately, it is also a very busy time of year and I don't have much opportunity to enjoy it. I cherish every second I have watching the boys jump in leaves, taking long walks, playing in the park, running and biking... all of those little seconds of time before the weather turns really cold and we can't play outside anymore.

This is a picture of my son from last year. I love his chubby little cheeks and remember his gravely little voice as he excitedly jumped from one pile of leaves to the other and rolled around in them. We had such a great time raking the leaves that day.

The page is made using Cream Soda from the Jellybean line that was misted with yellow glimmermist for the background. The other patterned paper that I used is Creepers from the Rockabilly line. I cut large chunks of it to frame the top and bottom of the page and then I cut smaller strips to use as ribbons. Layered over the papers I have pieces of Magistical Memories chipboard that have been inked to give them some color. I wanted alot of the natural chipboard color to show through because I felt that it added alot to the fall color scheme. I also used some of the patterned paper strips to back the hearts in the border at the bottom of the page. I have a thing for yellow polka dotted paper. The title was done with the Paper Trunk "Benny" alphabet in the green color. It's really amazing to me how easy it is to use Paper Trunk papers and to mix and match lines and colors.

Here are some of the detail shots of the page

Before I go, here is your word for the secret quote! It's getting close to the end of the month!

Good luck and I really hope you find some time to cherish the season and make some fun memories before it gets to cold!
