Happy 4th of July from Paper Trunk!

I love the 4th of July! It's such a happy holiday without the added stress of having to buy presents. Now, for me, it still comes with its share of last minute "what-to-bring-to-the-family-BBQ" worries, but those are easily solved with a few things from around your home!

Example: Yesterday we received a call (ok really, it was a Facebook message but in 2010 that really equals phone call right?) telling us that our presence was REQUIRED at an aunt's home on the other side of the state for a BBQ/poker tournamet. Now, after being married to my husband as long as I have, I have learned the "unwritten" rule to never come empty handed (meaning always bring a bottle of wine).

I grabbed a bottle of wine from our rack, all the yummy s'mores fixin's I could find, and a few items from my studio.

Two lunch bags later (yes, that's a lunch bag wrapped around the bottle of wine), a little Paper Trunk goodness, and some adhesive and voila! An instant BBQ pleaser!
