A Two For One

Hellooooo Monday and helloooo friends!  Carole here with my first post and Paper Trunk projects to share with you.  As I write this post it is with a sigh of relief that the layout I'm about to show you survived unscathed from a  scrappers most catastrophic event!  See I had my layout, and a few others, sitting out on the dining room table ready for me to photograph them by the sliding glass door.  That's where the best light in my house is.  As my layouts sat innocently upon the table, and it being such a nice day outside, my husband thought it would be a good idea to turn on the hose for a little water play with our almost four year old blessed and adorable little trouble maker.  She's always hard to stay mad at for too long, anyhow though that's beside the point, or is it?  Well, unbeknownst to me they were a spraying away while the screen door was open!  All of sudden my husband is pleading to Kiersten to stop spraying the hose as she starts to spray arches of water into the house!!  My poor layouts became the victims of water abuse as did the rest of the floor, table, walls, and couch!!  I was so distraught and upset that my hard work was going to be ruined!  Thankfully by the grace of the scrappy gods, my work only had a few water spots on them that I was able to quickly blot up.  Now I am happy to be able share with you this layout that I created using the "Maybe Baby" paper collection.  It is a layout about the time my sister and I went to a Creating Keepsakes convention in Portland, OR and we had a wonderful brown bag lunch in the lobby in between our classes and shopping.  Such a great time!

Now, like the post title says, I have a two for one post for you today.  If you participated in our recent blog rock to showcase the sneak peeks of our new line "Rockabilly", then you may have already seen the layout below.  But because I love this new line so much and I'm really happy with the first layout I created using these new papers, I'd like to share it with you again.  This is my daughter, Kiersten, playing her little mini pink guitar while wearing a Cinderella costume.  A perfect match for these rockin' cool new papers.

The "Rockabilly" collection is available this month so make sure you hound your local scrapbook store to start stocking it, cause I know you're gonna love it!!

Take care, and I hope you all have a great week!!  Until next time, may creativity be with you!
