I have loved reading about everyone! And today, it's my turn to share.

I'm Megan, and I've been a member of the Paper Trunk design team since Carrie's first design team call. I love Paper Trunk, I love Carrie, and I'm so thankful for the opportunity to continue designing with Paper Trunk.
I actually started scrapbooking in back high school, during the late 90s, using ticket stubs, magazine cut outs, hotel keys, receipts, and some pictures. Anyone want a collage of Brad Pitt or Jared Leto? I probably have on in the archives. What about a barf bag (unused of course) from a plane ride? It might even have doodles on it.
After I got married, I continued to scrapbook off and on, but I didn't really become hooked on it until after I had my first child. Like lots of people, after I had kids, I wanted a way to remember all the little details. I've always liked doing crafty things, especially with paper, so scrapbooking was a perfect fit for me.
Back when I was in high school cutting out words from magazines and gluing them on construction paper, I was also dating my future husband. We met when I was just 15 years old on a church youth group mission trip. Four and half years later, I married my first and only love. It's been 10 years since we said "I do", and what a great 10 years it's been! We've lived in two states, 4 apartments, and one house. We have 3 children, two boys and a girl. Connor is 7, Logan is 5, and Camryn will turn 2 this summer. Derek is my best friend, and I cannot imagine my life without him.
I would totally insert a scrapbook page of my hubby and I here, but can you believe I don't have any Paper Trunk pages about the two of us?! I will have to take care of that! So instead of a page, how about this recent family picture taken under the tree where Derek and I got engaged. Only we actually got engaged in the tree, not just in front of it. That's a fun story for another time!
Besides scrapbooking, I love photography. The two really go hand in hand for me. I also love to play any games or sports (I'm a fairly competitive person), go out to eat, and hang out with friends and family. I am blessed to be a stay at home mom, and I love it (most days...don't get me wrong...I am so very blessed, but we definitely have our bad days!)So I think I've rambled on enough for now. I will leave you with a just a few of my Paper Trunk creations!

This next page still makes me smile every time I see it. My younger son and my baby girl still have the sweetest relationship. They have had a special bond from the very beginning.

I can hardly believe my full-fledged toddler was ever this chubby little chunk of love! It's gone by way too fast.

Here is a page that I created several years ago when I received my first box of Paper Trunk goodies. I love this picture of my boys, taken almost 3 years ago.

In conclusion...

Thanks for letting me share a bit about myself!
