Introducing Lisa!!!

Wow!
i cannot believe i am writing this post. me? from nowhere NH having an
opportunity to design for such an amazing scrapbook company??? i feel
overwhelmed and blessed. i feel *so* blessed to be able to design for
paper trunk and already have miles of ideas floating through my head
and i know i will have many new creations to share with you when i
play with my first paper trunk goodies, but for today i will share a
bit about me while you wait to see some inspiration~
i am a 30 year old mom of 5, married for over a dozen years to my
first true love and the first guy i ever kissed... yes, it is
true...he has been my rock and my best friend... and he loves to see
everything i create and poses for every picture... we love to hike
and spend our weekends at the ocean or the lake when the weather
allows and just be together. our family motto is :we not do it
perfectly, but we will all do it together.
here is my family~
how can life be any sweeter??? my children are such a gift to me! i
feel honored that God has given them to me to raise and guide and love
and care for!

i did not start scrapbooking for my children, though... the meaning
was very different for me, the purpose was greater. a dear friend
introduced me to scrapbooking when i was only 17. i had just returned
from a missions trip to Ukraine. i felt God calling me to serve others
and to leave my normal summer schedule to travel half way across the
world to serve people i had never met. it turned out to be life
changing and faith affirming. i had never even been on a plane. it was
scray and eye opening and wonderful. God used that experience to bring
me to scrapbooking. i started documenting all i had learned and adding
my photos and memorabilia. from that moment on i wanted to document
all that was changing me and all that made me who i am (in Christ) for
those around me....

i spend my days creating new memories (which is not hard with such a
big family), home schooling and cleaning (yeah. i like to do
that...weird, i know), playing outside(hiking and beach days, snow
forts and sledding) and playing inside (playing doggies and kitties
and babies and dress up and board games).
i have one crazy busy life, but the one thing i do almost every day
for me is create.... and i love it~ and i hope it can inspire someone
else!
here is what i will leave you with: a stack.... this stck is the los i
have created this year... there are over 100 memories in there and i
am so glad i have them to look back on....

have the best weekend
~Lisa
