Danielle Wycough

Hi everyone! I am honored to be a part of the Paper Trunk team, and I am grateful for the opportunity to design with this absolutely wonderful group of ladies.

A little introduction:

First of all, I am a sinner saved by Grace. I was born and raised in California until I was 14. I have been in the same little Texas town ever since. I discovered scrapbooking in the Fall of 2008, after I had said I would NEVER scrapbook! We were putting together a scrapbook for Prince Charming’s grandmother, and I was asked to do a 2 page layout. I had no idea where to even begin. Fortunately, the LSS was owned by two women who did not mind answering every question I had…and I had many! I was instantly hooked. I love all the pretty paper. The embellishments. The ribbon. In fact, I do not know of anything about scrapbooking that I don't love! This card was created using the 1974 digital kit from Paper Trunk.

I am married to the love of my life and my best friend. We went to high school together, but we didn’t really know each other. After high school and college, we “met”. We only dated for 3 months when he asked me to marry him. Three months later, we were married. A couple of weeks before we started dating, we had each prayed that God would send the person He wanted us to be with. On our first date, I could not shake the feeling that it was my last first date. When I speak of him, I refer to him as Prince Charming because he IS my Prince. This past week, for no reason at all, he pulled off of the road and gathered a bouquet of wildflowers to give me. He is more than I ever dreamed of, and everything I ever dreamed of ! He is very supportive of this crazy little obsession I call scrapbooking.

We have five absolutely extraordinary children. Three boys and two girls. Their names and ages are Callie-13, Ethan -10, Garrett -8, Shelby -7, and Chisum -5. The older 4 are in school, and Chisum will begin Kindergarten in the Fall. I am able to stay at home with them, and I feel that this is one of the greatest callings in my life. Having a large family is truly a blessing. One of the most important things to us is spending time together. Prince Charming’s job takes him away from home for 2 weeks out of the month. When he is home, you can find us all riding horses, going on a picnic, fishing, or just watching a movie. But, we are always together. The kids are involved in a variety of activities which include cheerleading, football, baseball, softball, track, volleyball, and although our schedule might be a little hectic and crazy, I cherish every minute of it. God has blessed me beyond what I could ever deserve.
