Valentine Heart Bouquet

Love is in the air. I can feel it. I love Valentine's Day and this year's holiday is going to be even more special for me and my family as we're dedicating the triplets that day. To celebrate their dedication, we're having a small get together with family and friends. I thought it would be fun to have centerpieces for the tables to go along with our {heart} theme. Here's a fun bouquet that I created using the new Krafty line. I also combined some Batik in there as well.

Here's a few close-ups.

It was pretty easy to make. The hearts were a little time consuming but so worth it.
All you need is...
glue
skewer sticks
red cardstock
Krafty paper
red paper shreds
silver bucket
ribbon of your choice
raffia
a heart die cut, punch or stencil. Here I used my cricut.

I started by cutting all different heart shapes in different sizes. Fold the hearts in half so they'll pop a little to give a more 3-dimensional look. I glued them to my skewer sticks. (I cut my skewer sticks so they were different heights to give my bouquet a full look). Place the Styrofoam in your bucket then place the paper shred to fill to the top. Place heart skewers throughout the bucket. Decorate your bucket with ribbon and raffia and now you have yourself a fun Valentine's Day bouquet.
Happy Valentine's Day!
