A bit of the new, A bit of the old.

I'm still playing playing with the new Krafty Collection kits! In my mind I can picture beautiful elegant wedding photos using nothing but Krafty, but seeing as I don't have any of those atm, I'll settle for scrapping my girls and popping in some bright happy colours to make it more playful :)

Here is my latest play, mixing old lines with the new Krafty, mixing the older alphas with the new Benny alphas, add some of the previously released diecuts, and you have a pretty spunky layout!

Tip: If you like the curled distressed edge of this layout, this is how I do it. Adhere your paper as normal, but leave a small border un-adhered so you have room to curl. Using either an Aqua brush (waterbrush) or just a wet paintbrush or wet fingertips, make your edges of paper wet (not too wet or else it will just break, but not too dry, otherwise it won't roll nicely). Once the paper is wet, it will become softer and more pliable, simply use your fingertips and roll your paper as much or as little as you want to create the effect.

Who has had a play with the new Krafty goodies yet????

  1. Gorgeous, Jolene! I love how you even used the negative part of the die cut sheet (on the right) Love how you created a frame with the Socialite paper and layered with the subtleness of the Krafty Collection! :0)
